LAUNCH LIST & NEWSLETTER

If you leave your email on the Coming Soon page or join the newsletter on the main site, The 911 Grind stores the email address, the signup source, timestamps and limited technical anti-abuse information such as a one-way hash derived from the submitting IP address. The purpose is to manage the launch list and send the launch notice and occasional project, shop or Grind updates when email delivery is enabled.

The signup is voluntary. Newsletter messages are sent from the dedicated project mailbox whatsup@the911grind.com through The 911 Grind's own configured mail server rather than through an external newsletter delivery platform in this release. Each campaign is sent as an individual message to each active subscriber and includes a signed unsubscribe link. Delivery records may store the campaign, recipient email snapshot, send status, attempt count, technical error information and message identifier so sends can be resumed, audited and not duplicated.

You can withdraw from the list at any time using the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or by contacting hello@the911grind.com. Once unsubscribed, the address is excluded from future campaign recipient snapshots unless it is later subscribed again. Newsletter-list and delivery data are kept while needed to administer the list, maintain send history and respect unsubscribe choices, unless an earlier deletion request applies.

COMMISSION INQUIRIES

When you send a commission inquiry, the site may collect your name, email address, optional phone or Instagram contact, vehicle details, project description, selected package and the images you upload. This information is used to review the request, answer you, assess scope and availability, and where applicable take steps at your request before a commission is agreed.

Commission materials are kept for as long as reasonably needed to review and answer the inquiry, manage any resulting project and protect legitimate legal or operational interests. Please avoid uploading personal information that is not needed for the artwork request.

SECURITY & ABUSE PREVENTION

The service records limited technical information needed to protect public forms and the administration area, enforce rate limits, investigate errors and prevent abuse. This can include timestamps, request identifiers and hashed network identifiers rather than storing a public-form IP address as plain text.

FIRST-PARTY ANALYTICS

If you allow Analytics in Cookie Settings, The 911 Grind also runs its own first-party analytics system. It creates random visitor and session identifiers in first-party browser local storage and sends analytics events only to The 911 Grind's own backend. The system records page paths and titles, event names and timestamps, landing page, referral source at host/origin level, UTM campaign parameters, device category, browser, operating system, browser locale and timezone. It also records approximate country, region or city only when that information is supplied by the hosting/server infrastructure.

The first-party analytics tables do not store raw IP addresses. The analytics service does not use an external IP-geolocation provider in this release. Analytics events are retained for up to approximately 13 months and are used to understand traffic sources, popular content, device mix and actions such as newsletter signup, Free Fuel downloads, product views, external-link clicks and commission inquiry conversion. If Analytics is rejected or later disabled, the first-party tracker stops sending events and removes its analytics visitor/session identifiers from browser storage.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS & CONSENT

The public site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Z8B6PMMD8Z) with Google Consent Mode v2. The purpose is to understand visits and how the public site is used so the project can improve content and navigation. Before a visitor makes a choice, analytics storage and all advertising-related consent signals are set to denied. In advanced consent mode Google may still receive limited cookieless measurement while storage is denied. If you allow Analytics, analytics storage is granted and GA4 may use analytics identifiers/cookies; advertising storage, advertising user-data sharing and advertising personalisation remain denied in this release.

The Google tag can send technical measurement information such as page/location information, browser or device information, timestamps, referral information and consent state to Google. The exact information available to Google depends on your consent state and Google Analytics configuration. You can change the analytics choice later through COOKIE SETTINGS. More detail is in the Cookie Policy.

FREE DOWNLOADS

Free Fuel downloads do not require an account or newsletter signup. Normal technical server logs may still be created by the hosting infrastructure when a file or page is requested.

EXTERNAL SERVICES

The site can link to social media, music, coffee/support or other external services. After you follow an external link, that service operates under its own privacy rules. Google Analytics is the external analytics service currently connected to the public site; The 911 Grind also operates the first-party analytics system described above. Google’s privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy. Newsletter delivery currently uses the project's own mailbox and configured mail server rather than an external campaign-delivery processor. If The 911 Grind later connects a separate mailing or payment processor that receives personal data, this policy must be updated to reflect that processing and any relevant international-transfer safeguards.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on the processing and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict processing, object to certain processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

CHANGES

This policy will be updated when the project adds or materially changes data-processing services such as analytics, mailing, payments or order-processing features.
